Alex is a Strategic Feasibility Senior Manager for clinical development studies. She transitioned from Academia to the Pharmaceutical industry 10 years ago, following a PhD in Cardiovascular Disease and a Postdoctoral position in Nutrition and Immunology. Within her career came experience managing teams, being responsible for recruiting, training and performance management. These roles included being accountable for planning, finance and budgets as well as implementing processes and training.
At the centre of her life is her wonderful family, husband and two daughters, both of whom attend the school.
Alex is delighted to volunteer her time as a school governor to work with the school’s governing body enabling and bridging communication between the community and the school. She is happy to support the school and community to allow every child to achieve their spiritual, personal and academic potential and grow to be an engaged member within our community. In such a rich, ethnically and culturally diverse school, Alex feels that it is important that children feel a sense of belonging and responsibility towards their surrounding community.
