Every year we celebrate European Languages Day and dedicate a fun-filled day to learning about many different languages. We normally start these days with a fantastic assembly to kick start the day and the children’s thinking of languages. Did you know that there are 6,500 languages spoken around the world and only 20% of the world speak English? Our children are encouraged to think about issues such as this and how they relate to us.
Over the course of these days our classes find out more about languages through taking part in games, songs and role-play activities and there is always a positive buzz around school.
